Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue, is an independent award- winning wildlife rescue charity based in the south of Oxfordshire.
We specialise in the rescue, care and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned British wildlife. We do this with the aim to return our patients back to the wild once fit and healthy enough to fend for themselves.
As a small charity, our work is funded entirely by the kindness and generosity of donations made by members of the public.
If you can help us, please consider setting up a small monthly donation to help fund our operations.
With your help, we can continue to help deliver sick and injured wildlife the care and attention they so rightfully deserve.

OWR Winter Wildlife Appeal
Winter may be a time of festivities for us, but for our wildlife, it's a struggle for survival and a time of hardship...
During the winter, food becomes much more scarce for all species of wildlife, the darker nights present a far greater degree of danger for species such as deer, foxes and badgers on our busy road networks. Simply put, soon every single night and day becomes a desperate fight for survival on an already pressured ecosystem, and wildlife needs our help.
Here at OWR, we witness first hand the influx of patients arriving in their droves requiring emergency help and support. Starving hedgehogs, injured foxes, deer road traffic casualties, exhausted birds, emaciated owls and that's just the very tip of the iceberg!
Every call we answer, every animal casualty we attend, every life we save - happens ONLY because someone like you cared enough to act!!

Please, give what you can, today.
Only together can we help save British wildlife this winter!

Volunteer with us!
Our volunteers are the backbone of our operations here at OWR. Without them, it would simply be impossible to care for the thousands of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals that the charity is called upon to help in their hour of need.
We have a wide range of volunteering positions available, including animal care, fundraising, events, media, veterinary and our wildlife ambulance service.
If you’re 18 or over, care about British wildlife and want to make a real difference, then we’d love to have you join our team.
